This handy little picnic area is located just off of S.C. Hwy-107 and only 0.9 mile from the NC/SC state lines. We recommend using this picnic area for those heading North to Cashiers, NC from South Carolina or for those heading over to Whitewater Falls or the Gorges State Park from the Cashiers area. We would also like to suggest stopping here for a picnic due to it's ease of access and the chances of having it to yourself.
We also suggest stopping by "Silver Run Falls" is just 5 miles North towards Cashiers, NC for a nice spot to relax a minute and watch the falls plunge into the nice swimming hole at the bottom.
